This event will support our research-based programs and the Girls Inc. of Columbus golf program, which provides the opportunity to introduce under-resourced girls to a sport that will provide access to more than 200 college scholarships earmarked for girls that remain un-awarded annually.
Our program will teach more than just stance and swing; it will empower and inspire girls on the golf course to problem solve, strategize, and harness their leadership abilities as they pursue college and career opportunities. Your support of this event will fund golf clinics for girls ranging from ages 6 to 18 for twelve weeks per year.
The tournament kicks off with a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. A boxed lunch will be provided by Girls Inc. In addition, food and beverages are available for purchase on the course throughout the day. Golfers receive 18 holes of golf with a cart, have opportunities to win prizes, and are welcome to participate in an outdoor awards reception at the conclusion of the tournament.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
Four-person teams will receive 18 holes of golf, cart, boxed lunch, on-course games, 4 mulligans for each team member (not for use on grand prize hole) post golf celebration, and prizes. The tournament will be a shotgun start, 4-person scramble.
